All visitors to
India must possess a passport that is valid for
at least 6 months beyond the length of their
proposed stay. All foreigners require a visa to
enter India. These can only be obtained in
advance from the Indian High Commission, Embassy
or Consulate in your country (details of which
are given below) or a visa service agency.
(India Nepal Travel will assist you for
obtaining your visa for duration you travel; you
can also contact your travel agent or directly
collect information procedure for obtaining visa
online. so please ensure that you apply for it
in good time.
If you apply in
person, it normally takes one or two days only
but a postal application usually takes at least
10 days.)
A 180 day tourist
visa is valid from the date of issue (not entry)
and cannot usually be extended within India. In
event of traveling between India & Nepal back &
forth, you should request for multiple visa.
